Deltamethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that disrupts the insect nervous system on contact or when eaten. It gives quick knockdown with a period of residual control, and works well in rotation with insecticides from other chemical groups to help slow resistance.

Key Benefits

• Broad spectrum – controls both chewing and sucking insects.
• Fast knockdown – contact and stomach action with residual protection.
• Low dose – 100 ml treats 100 litres of spray solution.
• Date palm ready – suitable for date palms, vegetables, cucurbits and fruit trees.
• Easy mixing – EC formulation spreads evenly in the spray tank.

Recommended Crops & Uses

Crops: date palm, vegetables, cucurbits, cereals, fruit trees and ornamental plants.

Pests: caterpillars, whiteflies, aphids, leaf miners and borers. It fits integrated pest management programmes on UAE farms where warm weather keeps pest pressure high for much of the year.

How to Use

1. Wear protective clothing and gloves before mixing.
2. Mix 100 ml per 100 litres of water (adjust depending on crop density and pest pressure, within the label rate).
3. Spray uniformly on the foliage with a knapsack or tractor-mounted sprayer.
4. Do a test spray on a small area before full-scale application.
5. Keep people out of the treated area until the re-entry interval on the label has passed.
6. Rotate with insecticides from other groups to reduce resistance.
7. Always read and follow the product label before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it on vegetables?

Yes. Vegetables and cucurbits are listed target crops. Follow the label for the waiting period before harvest.

Does it work on whiteflies on date palms?

Whiteflies are a listed target pest and date palm is a listed crop. Spray thoroughly to reach the undersides of the leaves.

Is it safe for bees and pets?

Can I mix it with other sprays?

It is compatible with most commonly used agrochemicals. Do a small jar test first and check both labels.
