Bermectine Insecticide-Acaricide (Abamectin 1.8% EC)

Bermectine Insecticide-Acaricide (Abamectin 1.8% EC) is a broad-spectrum agricultural chemical developed to combat hard-to-control pests on high-value crops. Its active ingredient, Abamectin, is derived from Streptomyces avermitilis, a naturally occurring soil bacterium. This insecticide works by stimulating the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), disrupting the nervous system of insects and mites, eventually causing paralysis and death.

With strong residual control, Bermectine is rapidly absorbed into the plant’s leaf tissue where it continues working long after application, especially against leaf-mining insects. It is effective in both preventative and curative pest management strategies and is compatible with many common crop protection products.

Whether applied in open fields or greenhouses, Bermectine delivers consistent results in controlling red spider mites, two-spotted mites, leafminers, and thrips, all without causing phytotoxicity when used as directed.

Usage Instructions

• Dilution Rate: Mix 0.5–1.5 ml of Bermectine per liter of water depending on pest intensity and crop type.

• Application Method: Spray thoroughly on both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves.

• Timing: Apply during early infestation or as soon as pests are observed. Best applied in the early morning or late afternoon.

• Re-entry Interval (REI): 24 hours after application.

• Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): 7 days (ensure compliance with crop-specific guidelines).
