COMPO EXPERT Floranid® Twin Turf Fertilizer – 20-5-8 (+2 MgO)

Floranid Twin Turf 20-5-8 (+2 MgO) is a professional slow-release lawn fertilizer from COMPO EXPERT, made in Germany. It gives UAE lawns a steady supply of nitrogen instead of one quick flush, which matters in sandy soil where fast fertilizers wash through. It is part of our range of granular fertilizers for lawns and gardens.

Key Benefits

• Slow, even feeding – Isodur and Crotodur release nitrogen gradually for uniform green colour.
• Less leaching – controlled release reduces nitrogen loss in sandy UAE soils.
• Lower burn risk – slow-release nitrogen keeps turf green in summer heat with less chance of scorching.
• Magnesium included – 2% MgO supports chlorophyll and a deeper green.
• Balanced turf nutrition – phosphorus for roots and potassium for drought and stress tolerance.
• Less mowing – steady growth rather than surges means fewer cuts.

Where to Use

• Turfgrass – Bermuda, Zoysia, ryegrass and fescue.
• Professional turf – golf courses, stadiums, football fields and racecourses.
• Landscape lawns – villas, hotels and parks.
• Public green spaces – roundabouts, medians and institutional lawns.

It suits the coastal humidity of Dubai, the dry inland areas of Abu Dhabi and the landscaped communities of Al Ain and Sharjah.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much Floranid Twin Turf should I use?

Apply 25–40 g/m² depending on turf condition, then water it in straight away. Check the label for your turf type.

How often should I apply it?

Every 8–10 weeks during the active growing season. The slow-release nitrogen keeps feeding the grass between applications.

Can I apply it in the UAE summer?

Yes. Spread it early morning or evening, on dry grass, and irrigate immediately. The slow-release nitrogen lowers the risk of burning compared with fast fertilizers.

Is it safe for children and pets?

Keep children and pets off the lawn until the granules are watered in, and store the bag out of their reach. Follow the safety advice on the label.

Do you deliver in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. GreenAsh delivers across the UAE, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al Ain, and you can order on WhatsApp too.

Tips for UAE Gardens

• Sandy soil drains fast. Water in after feeding, then irrigate in the cool hours to cut evaporation.
• In peak summer, avoid feeding stressed or dry turf. Water first, feed the next day.
• Spring and autumn are the main growth windows, so plan your heaviest feeding then.
• Store bags in a cool, dry, shaded place and keep them sealed.
